By booking a Tour or Service with JoyRidesAZ, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Are children under the age of 5 years old allowed on the carts?
YES, CAR SEAT MUST BE PROVIDED BY GUEST. Arizona state law prohibits children under the age of 5 years old on transportation carts without an approved car seat.
Can multiple discounts be combined?
No, only one discount per booking.
How can I be reassured that the golf cart is properly insured and safe?
JoyRidesAZ golf carts carry and can provide current documentation. JoyRidesAz is the only company that is locally owned and operated. We are also the only golf cart company that is an approved member of Experience Scottsdale Visitor Bureau and approved vendor of the City of Scottsdale. JoyRidesAZ drivers are professional, prompt, knowledgeable, trained, background checked and drug policy compliant.
Do all Golf Cart Owners have a background driver check Policy? JoyRidesAZ drivers have driver background checks, drivers must be approved by the insurance company in ordered to be added to the insurance. JoyRidesAZ drivers are trained, drug policy compliant and can provide documentation. However, it is the responsibility of the individual/company owners and drivers are compliant.
How many can a golf cart seat?
JoyRidesAZ golf carts seat up to 5 guests comfortably with seatbelts.
Do all carts follow State, City and Insurance regulations?
NO. JoyRidesAZ is able to provide documentation if needed. The City of Scottsdale, Arizona Department of Transportation and Arizona Department of Public Safety all have rules regarding how transportation carts are operated. However, it is the responsibility of the individual owner or company owners to be compliant.
Drivers smoke/vape on carts?
NO. JoyRidesAZ has smoke/vape free carts.
Do all Golf Cart Owners have a Zero Tolerance Drug Policy?
NO. JoyRidesAZ has a ZERO tolerance Drug Policy and can provide documentation. Drug policy is provided on www.JoyRidesAZ.com. However, it is the responsibility of the individual/company owners and drivers are up to date with rules and standards with their drivers.
Do all Golf Cart Owners have a background driver check Policy?
NO. JoyRidesAZ drivers have driver background checks, are trained, drug policy compliant and can provide documentation. However, it is the responsibility of the individual/company owners and drivers are compliant.
Are rates per person or flat rate per cart?
Always ask the price before taking a ride!! Prices vary depending on group size, type of event, time and Holidays.
Do golf carts operate on tips?
NO. Rates differ based on golf cart company and individual owners, distance of ride and possible wait time. Which is why it’s important to have that discussion with the driver before taking a ride.
Do golf carts work for the City and Hotels?
No! The golf carts do not work for the City or Hotels. The very few golf cart companies and many individual owners lease out their carts. JoyRidesAz is the only company that is locally owned and operated. We are also the only golf cart company that is an approved member of Experience Scottsdale Visitor Bureau and approved vendor of the City of Scottsdale. JoyRidesAZ drivers are professional, prompt, knowledgeable, trained, background checked and drug policy compliant.
Are services offered in other cities besides Scottsdale?
Yes, we are available to service other areas. Reservations are required.
How should I dress?
As always, guests should dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather.
Yes, just call or email and provide your information. We will provide you with a gift certificate within 72 hours.

Are reservations required?
Yes, especially on type of tour and day of the week. Space is limited, some restrictions may apply.
When is payment required?
Payment required upon booking.
Are pick up and drop off time scheduled?
Yes, a set timeframe will be established at the time of booking. Any deviation from that time may result in penalties such as but not limited to reduction in event schedule.
How far in advance is booking required for a tours and transportation? Usually we are available by phone, but the sooner you book the better.
How far in advance is booking required for large groups, Culinary and Tasting Tours? All request should be submitted a minimum of three (3) business days before your special event date and fourteen (14) business days in advance during holiday weekends.
